On Saturday morning we'll be opening up our moth trap, located in a nearby garden, to see what moths have been collected overnight. We expect a wide selection of moths, perhaps including large Poplar Hawkmoth, Elephant Hawkmoth with distinctive pink backs, Gold Spot and the twig-like Buff Tip.
Donations will be very much appreciated. Friends of Caldy Nature Park is a non-profit, volunteer-run community organisation; money raised helps us
• put on events like these to engage the local community and families with nature, and
• pay for things like tools and insurance for our amazing members to maintain the park.
