Footpath Closures for Weir Repairs

Works have started today on the banks at the weir next to the Millennium Blue Bridge. Footways around the working area will be closed.

The works will include reinforcing the side walls and bankside with gabions (wire baskets filled with stone). Access will be maintained wherever possible but for safety reasons, temporary closures may be required.
