Recent Work in the Nature Park

The council have completed their work on the car park installing kerb stones to prevent vehicles churning up the grass. The paths have also been repaired after damage caused by flooding of the brook.

New Kerb Stones

The working party have been busy this week,

• cleaning the Blue Millennium Bridge which been turning green with all the damp weather we've had over the last few months.

• the pipe that drains overflow water from the pond near the weir into the brook had become blocked with debris and mud. This was cleared and wire mesh put over the inlet to reduce clogging.

• build up of wood debris in the brook was cleared.
