Caldy Nature Park was first established in 1991, details of our history can be found below.
| Working with Chester City Council, the primary aim of creating a large area of wetland began. |
| The pond and the leats were excavated, taking water from the brook into the pond. |
| The pond and leats were re-excavated and a new wetland area created. The bridges were replaced and some paths rebuilt. The sculpture was erected near the car park and the wildflower area fenced off. |
| A new play area was created for the children. |
| Saw the creation of new community orchards as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations and repairs to the damaged footpaths. |
| A new picnic table was installed at the request of local residents. This has disabled access and so can be used by all the community. Footpaths were repaired and a new tarmac path installed. |
| The Park retained its Green Flag status for another year thanks to all the hard work by our Ranger and the monthly working parties. |
| New signage was installed at all entrances to the park. The Park retained its Green Flag status for 2016/17. |
